We are very pleased to announce the online-conference "Trends in Modelling, Simulation and Optimisation: Theory and Applications" that is organized jointly by the CRC TRR154-2 and the Marie-Curie ITN MINOA ("Mixed-Integer Nonlinear Optimization: Algorithms and Applications") and the ADA Lovelace Center by Fraunhofer
IIS. The conference will bring together leading experts from applied mathematics, computer science, and engineering. The goal is to stimulate discussions between researchers and industrial representatives who are interested in today's challenges in energy, logistics and engineering. A focus will be on network problems. The conference aims to to offer a platform for discussions between the various disciplines. This event follows the conference series "Mathematics of Gas Transport" that took place in 2016 and in 2018.
The project "Mixed-Integer Non Linear Optimisation: Algorithms and
Applications" has received funding from the Europeans Union's EU
Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 under the
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Grant Agreement No 764759.The CRC TRR154-2 "Mathematical Modelling, Simulation and Optimization Using the Example of Gas Networks" is financed by the DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft)
